Catemple Slot Conclusion

At first glance, Catemple's unordinary-looking grid made us think that this would be another Slurpy with intricate mechanics. But as we started spinning, we realized that nothing too crazy was going on. It’s a rather ordinary slot, actually, with scatter pays, a progressive multiplier, and coin wins. We mean that in a good way, though, because the game plays really well. It doesn’t need to be all advanced, it just needs to be fun. The Collect Zone is a nice touch, and the sheer number of Feature symbols makes the game immersive and fast-paced. With that said, Coin symbols somewhat limit a game in terms of innovation, as they’re so frequently used nowadays. So, because of the game’s relatively simple and straightforward mechanics, we expect this to be one of those games that is a success but perhaps fails to have any real longevity due to the same reason. 

Our favorite aspect of the game is the overall visual production, which is a department in which ELK outperforms almost all competitors. It’s hard to pinpoint what exactly makes it so great, but we believe it’s a mix of sharp symbols and the animation of them falling, connecting, and triggering. On top of that, the audio production is as good as usual with ELK. It’s really only Nolimit City that can challenge them in that area.
