Dino P.D Slot Overview
Dino P.D is a new casino slot from Push Gaming in which two of the provider’s most prominent games merge to create an exhilarating adventure in the future. Hold on, future? Well, scientists have claimed that it’s possible to bring back wooly mammoths, but dinosaurs seem like a stretch. However, despite its Mesozoic theme, the buildings and cars imply that the two eras have collided to create a dystopian society where dinosaurs roam. Now, these dinos might look cute and kind, but if we’re being realistic, a world filled with these beasts would not be safe for anyone. We’ll stop being party poopers now; it’s time for Dinopolis to meet Big Bamboo.Â
Dino P.D is a video slot from Push Gaming that features 5 reels, 4 rows, and 20 paylines. Players can choose between making a Min.bet of 0.10 and a Max.bet of 100. The game has a default RTP of 96.38%, which changes slightly if you use the extra bet or choose to gamble the bonus, etc. Dino P.D is played at high volatility and can net you a max win of 10,000x the bet.
To keep you from being arrested by these police dinos, Push has provided us with some lucrative mechanics. The features are Wild Symbol, Scatter Symbol, Coin Symbols, Gamble Feature, Free Spins, Ante Bet, and Bonus Buys.
Dino P.D Slot Information
It’s unclear in which era the game takes place. The mix of dinosaurs and cars doesn’t make a whole lot of sense, but who cares. Despite the confusing theme, it’s a phenomenal setting where Push has, once again, worked thoroughly with colors and high-quality graphics to create a pretty environment. As we all know, slots can be infuriating when it doesn’t go your way, and that’s where a good-looking, smooth frame can make a difference.Â
Dino P.D can be played on all common mobile devices and desktops. A winning combination is created by landing 3 or more matching symbols on consecutive reels within the game’s lines, starting from the leftmost reel.Â
The lower-paying symbols consist of donuts in various colors. A full line of 5 with one of these pays 3x the bet. The medium-paying symbols are locks, radios, flasks of gas, and megaphones, paying 7.5x-10x the bet for a full line of 5. The higher-paying symbols include three dinosaurs. Five-of-a-kind with these pays 30x-50x the bet. Wild symbols and Scatters are also available, with the former substituting for other symbols and the latter activating the bonus game. Lastly, Coin symbols can land on the reels, but we’ll go over these in the next section.Â

Wild Symbol
Wild symbols act as jokers, enabling more winning combinations by substituting for paying symbols.Â
Scatter Symbol
Scatter symbols can land on reels 1, 3, and 5. The one on the 5th reel is a Gamble Scatter, which will reveal what level and how many spins the bonus starts at.Â
Coin Symbols
Coin symbols are bet multipliers that can land anywhere on the reels, both during base game and free spins. A win is awarded when at least 5 coins are in views. Coin values are: 1x, 2x, 5x, 10x, 25x, 50x, 100x, 250x, 500x, and 100x.Â

Free Spins
During Free Spins, Coin Collector Symbols (coins with a dotted ring around them) that land will be collected on the low-paying symbol meter next to the reels. When 4 of these are collected, that low-paying symbol will be converted into Coin symbols on the reels, and a Coin symbol multiplier will be activated. If you make it to the last step, all donuts will have become Coins, and you’ll have a multiplier of 10x.

Dino P.D Slot Conclusion
By now, we’re used to slot sequels in all forms and shapes. Some become huge hits, while others fail to live up to player expectations. What we haven’t seen that much of, though, is this type of mashups. At first, we thought that it was just Big Bamboo 2 in a Dinopolis skin, but it turns out that it’s a mix of both, mechanically. We have the coins that stems from both games. To upgrade, you need the highlighted coins, just like in Dinopolis, but the sort of upgrade itself is similar to that of Big Bamboo. Similar mashups have probably been done in the past, but we’d love to see more of it, instead of just “regular” re-skins.Â
However, an interesting theme with a cool mashup doesn’t automatically result in a fun game. Nonetheless, it did here. There are two annoyances in Dinopolis and Big Bamboo that are removed here. In Dinopolis, you’d often land huge coins, but failed to connect them so they were often just a tease. You still need five coins to activate them here, but it didn’t feel as frustrating. In Big Bamboo, you had to land bamboo to even have a chance of landing coins. Therefore, it lived more on its regular connections than big wins from coins. The issue was that it didn’t pay a whole lot if you didn’t level up, and you had to either gamble or land Scatters for that. It’s the same principle in Dino P.D, but the focus is now fully on coins, which can pay a lot even if you don’t have a multiplier.
Dino P.D by Push Gaming is a mashup of Dinopolis and Big Bamboo, which has resulted in a fantastic product.
