DJ Fox Slot Overview
DJ Fox is a new casino slot from Push Gaming where the iconic Push-Up feature returns.Â
Iconic may be somewhat of an overstatement, but it rose to popularity in Generous Jack, a game that made quite an impact. It didn’t look like the most innovative game of all time, as you literally spelled out your wins in numbers (5 and 0 in a row would be a 50x win, etc), yet it didn’t feel similar to any other slot out there. In DJ Fox, the concept has been further developed, introducing multipliers to the gameplay. Let’s take a closer look!
DJ Fox is a video slot from Push Gaming with an unusual setup of 3 reels and 1 to 5 rows. No paylines or payways are in play. Instead, you’re awarded prizes by landing LP records. Players can choose between a Min.bet of 0.1 and a Max.bet of 100. The game has a solid RTP of 96.28%, but like most games nowadays, it might be lower on some sites and regions. DJ Fox is played at high volatility and can net you a max win of 10,000x the bet.Â
DJ Fox is far from an ordinary game, so bare with us. The features are VIP Symbol, Row Activation, Multiplier Meter, Meter Lock, LP Records, and Push-Up Bet.Â
DJ Fox Slot Information
As the title implies, a DJ’ing fox stands for the entertainment. There are many games with almost identical themes out there (apart from the fox), but it still feels fresh, and not too overused.Â
DJ Fox can be played on all common mobile devices and desktops. A winning combination is created by landing a numbered LP record.
The value of the records ranges from 0-0.9x, but by combining them, the payouts can increase. More on that in a bit.
DJ Fox Slot Features
What is the max win in the slot DJ Fox?
You can win up to 10,000x the bet.
What features are available in the slot DJ Fox?
The features are VIP Symbol, Row Activation, Multiplier Meter, Meter Lock, LP Records, and Push-Up Bet.Â
VIP Symbol
Landing a VIP Symbol activates the Row Activation and Multiplier Meter.
Row Activation
Like in Generous Jack, you’ll start off with only 1 row. If you land a VIP Symbol, another row is unlocked, and you spin again. If you fail to land another VIP symbol, the rows are reset.Â
Multiplier Meter
On the left hand side of the grid, you’ll see a Multiplier meter. Each time a VIP symbol lands, the lowest available position of the Multiplier meter is filled. At the end of a spin, your total win will be multiplied by the value highlighted in the Multiplier meter, and then it gets reset.
Meter Lock
Meter Lock is a random trigger which locks progression to the Multiplier meter in place for the next spin. Meter Lock can only be triggered at the end of a round in which VIP Symbols have been added to the Multiplier meter. All unlocked rows are held in place for the next spin.Â
LP Records
To create wins in this game, you’ll need to land LP Records. These have numbers attached to them, where a 9 equals 0.9x the bet, a 5 equals 0.5x the bet, etc. If a 9 lands next to a 0 on the same row, you’ll instead win 9x your bet. There are also “00” symbols, which will help you achieve bigger wins, as a 9 next to a 00 symbol pays 90x (900x0.1). If there’s an empty space inbetween the numbers, their wins will be separate, so 9-blank-5 is a 1.4x win (0.9+0.5).
Push-Up Bet
If you want to spice up your session, you can do so by activating some extra rows from the get-go, at an extra cost, of course:
2.5x = Activates 1 extra row.
5x = Activates 2 extra rows.
7.5x = Activates 3 extra rows.
10x = Activates 4 extra rows.
DJ Fox Slot Conclusion
As expected, the Push-Up mechanic produces another thrilling product. We review new games every single day, and the majority of them are “regular” slots where 3 or 4 Scatters are needed to trigger Free Spins. They do of course use different mechanics to differentiate themselves, but as many of them have the same build-up, games like DJ Fox really stand out. In the end, it’s all about the number that shows up and how much you win/lose, but this one is constantly doing something.
It’s almost like an everlasting bonus round, where all it takes is a new VIP symbol to show up for you to progress and increase the potential. As the game also doesn’t have an actual bonus round, the stress of having to land the bonus is not there, and although we love bonuses, it’s a nice change of pace.
One annoyance that we do want to bring up, though, is the value of the LP Records. If you’re new to the game and just start spinning instantly, you might land “999” and think you’ve won a banging 999x, when in reality, it’s “just” 99.9x. This is stated on the right-hand side of the grid, but we’re certain some players will miss it. But hey, now you know!
DJ Fox by Push Gaming uses the Push-Up mechanic, where your goal is to increase the grid size to create huge wins.
