Forgotten Slot Overview

Forgotten is a casino slot from BGaming with a very disturbing theme, fittingly released around Halloween. You return to your childhood home to find it abandoned — only worn-out, decades-old toys are somehow still here. You forgot they existed! Clues in a vintage notebook lead you to the house’s attic, and there, the mystery of the empty house becomes clear to you once you finish the haunting Bonus game…

That’s how BGaming introduces you to this haunting game, which certainly got us intrigued. Game production overall is an underrated aspect of a slot game. Some games thrive on their innovative mechanics or potent super bonuses, but Forgotten is more about the story, the music, and the spooky visuals. Dare you enter it with us?

Base Game

Forgotten is a video slot from BGaming with a classic setup of 5 reels, 3 rows, and 10 paylines. Players can choose between making a Min.bet of 0.10 and a Max.bet of 34. The game has a great, default RTP of 96.89%. It has a hit frequency of 29.2% and a free spins frequency of 1 in 172.68 spins. Lastly, Forgotten is played at high volatility and can net you a max win of 7500x the bet.

Mechanically, you can expect all the things you would in a regular book game. The features of Forgotten are Wild Scatter Symbol, Free Spins, Feature Buys, and Extra Bet.

Forgotten Slot Information

The game takes place in an abandoned house with worn-out old dolls and toys. Pop scares and scary animations help boost the spooky vibe, and the whole theme is well-crafted.

Forgotten can be played on most common mobile devices and desktops. A winning combination is created by landing 3 or more matching symbols on consecutive reels within the game’s lines, starting from the leftmost reel.

The lower-paying symbols consist of footballs, Rubik’s cubes, spinning tops, cars, and stacking toys. Five-of-a-kind with these pays 10x-15x the bet. The higher-paying symbols include plush toys and dolls. A full line of 5 with one of these pays 75x-500x the bet. The book is a Wild Scatter symbol which both substitutes for other paying symbols and helps trigger the Free Spins feature.

Forgotten Slot Conclusion

Forgotten turned out to be quite a roller coaster for us. At first glance, we got super excited. The graphics are phenomenal and they’ve created a whole backstory about the game. It felt like a game that had received a lot of love just by the looks of it. Then we started spinning and checked out the bonus, and we realized that it was just another Book game. But after quite an extensive playthrough, our conclusion is that this doesn’t feel like every other book game.

It made us really understand how big of an impact the production quality has on a slot game. Despite its very generic mechanics, it felt fresh. With that said, and even though we are claiming that it doesn’t feel like every other book game, it IS a book game in the end, so we understand that many players will find it quite dull. We probably will as well, but it’s good enough to make us forgive the devs for providing us with book game #1 billion.

Forgotten from BGaming is a book game with an outstanding level of production visually and thematically.
