Moleionaire Slot Overview

Moleionaire is a casino slot from Pragmatic Play that introduces a new protagonist with a monocle, a hat, and a big, golden wild in its hands. Did you know that moles need to eat 70-100% of their body weight in food every day? Neither did we, but we made sure to do some digging (pun completely intended).

Despite many slot games featuring various forms of digging for treasure, few of them include a mole. But honestly, they’re cute, and they fit into the theme, so we don’t see why providers aren’t giving them more love. Moley Moolah and Mole Smash are some of the only mole games we could find, so thematically, Moleionaire is not facing a lot of competition. However, this is a 7x7 slot, which is a grid size that we see on some of Pragmatic’s most popular games, such as Sugar Rush and Fire Portals. Thus, there’s certainly some pressure on Moleionaire to get us hooked on the mechanics. Let’s dig in!

Base Game

Moleionaire is a video slot from Pragmatic Play with 7 reels and 7 rows. The cluster pays mechanic is in play, requiring 5 or more matching symbols in a cluster to make a winning combination. Players can choose between making a Min.bet of 0.20 and a Max.bet of 240. The game has a default RTP of 96.08%, but there are also versions of 95.08% and 94.08%. It has a hit frequency of 22.83% and a free spins frequency of 1 in 249.48 spins. Lastly, Moleionaire is played at high volatility and can net you a max win of 5000x the bet, with a max win frequency of 1 in 6,188,199 spins.

The slot solely consists of a couple of mechanics that are crucial throughout the entire game. The features of Moleionaire are Wild Symbol, Tumble, Cluster Reaction, Free Spins, and Feature Buy.

Moleionaire Slot Information

Moleionaire takes you to a vibrant garden filled with fruits, vegetables, flowers, and butterflies. The moleionaire has dug itself a hole on the right side, sitting there with a big coin in its paws and a smile on its face.

Moleionaire can be played on most common mobile devices and desktops. A winning combination is created by landing 5 or more matching symbols in a cluster.

The lower-paying symbols include leaves, cones, flowers, and butterflies. A winning combination of 5 with one of these pays 0.20x-0.30x the bet. The higher-paying symbols consist of carrots, lemons, radishes, and berries. Five-of-a-kind with these pays 0.50x-1x the bet. Scatter symbols and Wild symbols are also available, but more on that in a bit.

Moleionaire Slot Features

What is the max win in the slot Moleionaire?

You can win up to 5000x the bet.

What features are available in the slot Moleionaire?

The features of Moleionaire are Wild Symbol, Tumble, Cluster Reaction, Free Spins, and Feature Buy.

Wild Symbol

Wild symbols enable more winning combinations by substituting for other symbols. These are activated through the Cluster Reaction feature.

Tumble

Each symbol part of a winning combination is removed from the grid, allowing new ones to drop down.

Cluster Reaction

At every spin, a pair of two paying symbols is randomly chosen and shown. If these symbols are present adjacent to each other anywhere on the grid, they transform into Wild symbols. These will have a number between 1-5 attached to them, which is how many Wilds is added to a specific position. Thus, high numbers means that more symbols are part of that winning combination.

Free Spins

Landing 4, 5, 6, or 7 Scatter symbols awards 8, 10, 12, or 14 Free Spins respectively. It’s not stated what’s special about the Free Spins, but during our playthrough, it felt like Wild symbols were activated more often.

Feature Buy

The Free Spins feature can be bought at a cost of 90x the bet.

Moleionaire Slot Conclusion

Whenever Pragmatic releases one of these big grid games, we get extra excited. So many of their best games take place on similar foundations. So we fired up Moleionaire, aware that it could potentially be the next big thing. Sadly, that’s unlikely to be the case.

There’s just not enough going on in Moleionaire to be a hit. We do like that the Cluster Reaction feature is always active, as it gives you something to follow at all times, and the base game is actually quite enjoyable. But the bonus game falls flat, and we still don’t know exactly what the point of it is. We’re pretty sure that the Cluster Reaction feature just triggers more often, but we also played through plenty of bonuses where it only activated once or twice. When it does activate, it’s satisfying to follow, giving off a similar vibe as Sticky Bees, but Sticky Bees was way more complete.

If anything, Moleionaire just needed something more. It’s a gorgeous-looking game with an interesting mechanic, but there’s not enough going on for any sort of longevity.

Moleionaire from Pragmatic Play features a cluster reaction feature and a cute protagonist but falls flat due to an uneventful bonus game.
