Reindeer Royale Slot Conclusion

This is, as far as we can remember, ELK Studios’ first pure re-skin slot release. We don’t know what to think of that, as we are both slightly disappointed but also impressed that it took until now. Because in this industry, re-skins are incredibly common. It’s a way to get a new game release in the books at a much lower resource cost, so from a business standpoint, it’s hard to argue why it’s done. With that said, ELK Studios has built a reputation for being one of, if not the most innovative slot provider, so although we’ll hold no grudge over this re-skin, we hope that it won’t be a common occurrence. 

On a positive note, Rabbit Royale was a strong release from ELK, so mechanically, this is also a very fun game. That’s also a strength when it comes to re-skins, as you know what you’re getting yourself into, so if you liked the previous one, you know you’ll like this one. And hey, the fact that ELK is delving into this kind of morbid theme is a reason for celebration. It might not be for everyone, but it shows a new side of the provider that we haven’t seen before, which is always interesting.
