Rome Supermatch Slot Overview

Rome Supermatch is a new casino slot from Nailed It! Games in which we head to Rome and encounter an intriguing feature we have not seen before. So, this is set to be the 4th, or perhaps 5th, release from the Polish studio. They’ve taken us on adventures in Egypt (Book of Fate) and exciting excavations (Gold Mine Stacks and Gold Mine Stacks 2). For each release, we’ve seen the studio progress, and although they are still not a major player, we believe that they can be one day. Perhaps, Rome Supermatch nudges them further in that direction. Let’s see!

Rome Supermatch is a video slot from Nailed It! Games that features 5 reels and 1-8 rows. To make a winning combination, you need to land 3 or more matching symbols anywhere on the first row. Players can choose between a wide range of bet sizes, with a Min.bet of 0.20 and a Max.bet of 100. The game has an RTP of 96% and a hit frequency of 22.31%, implying that you can expect a winning combination on more than every 5th spin, on average. Rome Supermatch is played at high volatility and can net you a max win of 5000x the bet.

Once you’ve learned the ropes, Rome Supermatch is a straightforward game with few but intriguing mechanics. The features are Multiplier Wild, Spreading Wild, Supermatch, Second Chance Bonus, Mega Respin, and Feature Buys.

Rome Supermatch Slot Information

The game takes place in a majestic palace. A guard, armed with a spear and a shield, protects the grid. Above him, two statues arise. They both hold scrolls, showing which symbol is active and whether you’ve reached the Second Chance Bonus or not. Details like that make a big difference for the overall scene and make the game feel worked through.

Rome Supermatch can be played on all common mobile devices and desktops. A winning combination is created by landing 3 or more matching symbols anywhere on the first row.

The lower-paying symbols consist of J, Q, K, and A. A connection with 10 with one of these will pay 5x-6x the bet. The higher-paying symbols include various characters. Ten-of-a-kind with these pays 7.5x-11x the bet. Wild symbols can either have a bird or an X attached to them, activating two different features. Now, let’s take a look at the features!

Multiplier Wild

Multiplier Wilds substitute for the matching symbol and increase the multiplier by 1. These can appear on rows 2-8.

Spreading Wild

Spreading Wilds substitute for the matching symbol and covers the whole row with Wilds.

Supermatch

If you land 3 or more matching symbols in the first row, the next row is unlocked. If one or more of the matching symbols land there as well, the next row is unlocked. This goes on until you’ve unlocked all rows.

Second Chance Bonus

If you uncover your matching symbol on the 4th row, the Second Chance Bonus is activated. If you fail to make a connection after that, the row will be re-spun to give you another chance.

Mega Respin

If your matching symbol lands on the 8th row, the Mega Respin is activated. Your matching symbol will be sticky, whilst all other symbols re-spin. If you haven’t had to use your Second Chance Bonus before this, you’ll get 2 respins instead.

Rome Supermatch Slot Conclusion

Rome Supermatch is an interesting release, where Nailed It! has chosen a different path. Their previous releases have had fairly standard grids and mechanics, but this game brings something completely new to the table.

New is not always better, though, contrary to Barney Stinson’s belief. We thoroughly enjoyed Nailed It!’s previous games. Although they didn’t provide anything revolutionary, they took existing mechanics to a new level. In Rome Supermatch, they’ve tried something bold and new, but it feels like it doesn’t quite take off. It’s a fun game to play, but it doesn’t seem very volatile, despite its “high volatility”. Bare in mind that we only played it for a little while, so this is not an absolute fact, but we mostly got around money back when testing the different feature buys. That is not necessarily negative, though. Better that than getting nothing in return. We just found it tough to see how it could truly pop off.

Rome Supermatch by Nailed It! Games takes you on an intriguing journey to Rome, where a brand-new feature awaits.
