Tales of Mithrune Syn’s Fortune Slot Overview

Tales of Mithrune Syn’s Fortune is a new casino slot from Play’n GO in which we return to Mithrune to delve into Syn’s life, a shapeshifter of immense power.

It was in the fall of 2022 that we first ventured to Mithrune, that time to stop the Dark Lord Duran and his attempt to infect the kingdom with his dark magic. It was a complete fantasy universe from Play’n GO, but one that didn’t become as big of a success as they might’ve hoped. It’s hard to put your finger on why it wasn’t, as we quite liked the picture it painted and the mechanics within it. Thus, we’re happy to revisit and help the heroes once again, hopefully with even greater success than last time!

Tales of Mithrune Syn’s Fortune is a video slot from Play’n GO with a setup of 5 reels, 4 rows, and 20 paylines. Players can choose between a Min.bet of 0.20 and a Max.bet of 100. The game has a default RTP of 96%, but there are different versions, so be on the lookout. As in most Play’n GO’s, hitting the absolute max win is close to impossible. 1 in 2,147,483,647 spins, to be exact. Lastly, Tales of Mithrune is played at medium volatility and can net a max win of 3000x the bet.

To aid the champions, there are a few mechanics you should know of. The features are Wild Symbol, Scatter Symbol, Character Upgrade, and Free Spins.

Tales of Mithrune Syn’s Fortune Slot Information

The land of Mithrune makes for a beautiful scene. While Champions of Mithrune was a bit darker and more intense, this one feels more laid back and hopeful. As always, Play’n GO uses animations to make the characters feel alive, making every spin more interactive and interesting to look at.

Tales of Mithrune Syn’s Fortune can be played on all common mobile devices and desktops. A winning combination is made by landing 3 or more matching symbols on consecutive reels within the game’s lines, starting from the leftmost reel.

The lower-paying symbols consist of 10, J, Q, K, and A. A full line of 5 with one of these pays 0.3x-0.4x the bet. The higher-paying symbols include 5 different heroes. Five-of-a-kind with these pays 1.25x-5x the bet. Wild symbols are also available to help you make more winning combinations, and landing the Scatter symbol on reels 1, 3, and 5 triggers the Free Spins feature.

Tales of Mithrune Syn’s Fortune Slot Conclusion

Opposite to what you expect from a sequel, Tales of Mithrune feels like a simplified version of the first game. In the first one, the different heroes had specific features attached to them, while in this one, they’re all there to bow down to Syn. Perhaps this is the start of a saga where all the heroes get their own game, similar to what ELK is doing soon with the characters of Nitropolis.

We mentioned that this is a bit more simple than the first version, but that’s not necessarily a complaint. A game doesn’t need to be advanced in its mechanics to be enjoyable. In fact, the most simple games are often the most popular ones, as they are easy to grasp and doesn’t require the player to read any game info to understand. Tales of Mithrune Syn’s Fortune heads in that direction, but it falls a bit flat as we struggle to see it really pop off. Sure, you could theoretically get a full screen of the best symbol with a high multiplier, but getting anything going feels difficult. In conclusion, we think people might enjoy this game due to its frequent features but risk being discouraged by how hard it is to get it to pay big.

Tales of Mithrune Syn’s Fortune is a sequel to Champions of Mithrune, where the volatility has been toned down a bit.
