A-Maze Cades

After every win, the winning symbols are eliminated. Existing symbols will follow a unique pattern and move through the grid, towards the EXIT position. New symbols will then drop in from the right-most reel to fill the grid.

Wild Beaver Symbols

There are 3 Beaver symbols: red, blue, and yellow. Beaver symbols are Wild and substitute for all winning symbols. Beaver symbols are not removed from the grid after forming a winning combination; they are collected and removed from the grid when they land in the Exit position. When they land in the Exit position, their corresponding features will trigger. The red, blue, and yellow beavers trigger the Dynamite Blast, X-treme Cut, and Combo Clear, respectively.

The Multiplier feature is a progress meter with an upgradable total win multiplier, awarded to any subsequent wins. Collecting wooden crosses or non-beaver symbols, advances the progress meter by 1 point per symbol collected. When the meter is filled, the win multiplier is upgraded to the next level. The default value of the win multiplier is x1. It may be upgraded up to x10. The upgrade thresholds are x2, x3, x4, x5, and x10. 10, 20, 50, 100, and 200 points are required, respectively, per threshold. The previous threshold must be achieved before progressing towards the next one (x2 > x3 > x4 >x5 >10). The Multiplier resets to 1x every spin. 

Dam Flood

The Dam Flood feature may be triggered when no wins are formed, adding Wilds to the grid.

Upon starting this game for the first time, we got a bonus within the first ten spins or so. 28 minutes later, the bonus was over. Now, 28 minutes is a very long time for a bonus round, but we never found ourselves bored of it. It also paid around 1000x, so it won’t be the standard time frame, but it takes quite some time. The constant connections and features make it bearable, though, so if anything, we’re positive toward this since it’s not too common.

It does however also come with a downside. Some base game spins take a long time as well, sometimes not resulting in anything at all except a tiny win, which makes it feel a bit pointless. But Gaming Corps has really tried to create something new here, and we appreciate that. Sure, the similarities to Netent’s Finn series are strong, but it’s a mechanic that never got as much attention as we think it should’ve. On top of that, Wet and Wild Beavers hits way harder. As we mentioned, we had a 1000x win on our first bonus, which is more than the max win in Finn. Our suggestion is also that, if you choose to play this, try out the Extra Bet. It makes the game smoother with more connections, and the bonus lands a lot more frequently. All in all, we had a blast trying out Wet and Wild Beavers, despite rather slow gameplay, and we hope that Gaming Corps explores the mechanic even further.
