Blue Guru Games Review

Blue Guru Games, founded in 2021, is a young independent development studio underneath LeoVentures, an investment department of LeoVegas, and has its headquarters in Malta. The company, however, also has multiple other studios located in countries such as Estonia, the UK, and Australia. Their portfolio of games is inspired by the studio's love for history, quirky stories, and mythology that they then shape into slots, such as with their game Aussies vs Emus. Although Blue Guru Games are a bit like the new kid on the block, they have released some great games that have given them the recognition they deserve for their skills in turning myths and legends into beautiful slot experiences.

Blue Guru Games debuted with their first release, The Neamean Lion, and it was a great success for a studio's first game, featuring stacking win multipliers and a 25,000X max win. Picking up from a great start, the company then continued releasing games, often met with good praises, and they even released their own “Book of” slot games under the name Book of Thieves.

For being a relatively new studio, Blue Guru Games has been met with positive feedback for almost all of its releases, even when they have dropped some more unique and strange games, such as Freaked Out Fish. Most of which you can try out here on Aboutslots, as we offer game provider demos.

Blue Guru Games Conclusion

Starting out strong and being under the LeoVentures group, Blue Guru Games has made a name for itself since its formation. Over time, the company also made strides to expand into other regions, forming a partnership with Bragg Gaming to reach the U.S. market. In late 2024, Blue Guru Games rebranded to Slammer Studios, with a new management team and new mathematicians.
