Reel Kingdom Review
Reel Kingdom is a slot provider that was founded in 2019 and quickly partnered with Pragmatic Play. Some players may not recognize Reel Kingdom, but pretty much everyone will have seen or played its flagship game series. Because the Big Bass saga is, in fact, not a Pragmatic creation as many people think. Sure, Reel Kingdom has a lot of help from Pragmatic, but it’s not the same teams making the games. We know that the community is divided when it comes to Big Bass, but there’s no denying that it has become one of the most popular games out there, forcing other providers to adapt and also release games with similar mechanics.
Reel Kingdom Slots
Big Bass Bonanza was released in 2020 and rose in popularity quickly. We can’t imagine that Reel Kingdom knew what kind of goldmine they had struck before releasing it, but it wouldn’t take long until they did. A while later, Bigger Bass Bonanza came out, and today, there are 15 or so Big Bass games on the market, and that’s excluding all the re-skins like Floating Dragon and Club Tropicana. It’s hard to put a finger on why people are so frenetically in love with these fishing games, but we guess they just have the perfect mix of frequent bonuses, easy-to-understand mechanics, and potential for juicy wins. One thing’s for sure, though; Big Bass is here to stay.
Outside of Big Bass and its re-skins, however, Reel Kingdom hasn’t made too much noise. They do come out with some interesting titles at times, such as Big Burger Load it up with extra cheese, but seem to be very focused on rather low volatility games on standard grids. So Big Bass remains Reel Kingdom’s bread & butter, and we’ll have to hope that they can become more than a one-trick pony eventually.
If you want to try out their games, we have demo versions on most slot reviews!
Reel Kingdom Conclusion
Although Reel Kingdom has a lot to work on in terms of innovation, we will continue to advocate for them to receive all Big Bass love (and probably some hate, unfortunately), as it really is a product that they can be proud of. It’s a flagship like few others, and as long as people keep playing it, Reel Kingdom will continue to deliver.
