Relax Gaming Review
Relax Gaming was founded in 2010, entering the iGaming market relatively early. Although they haven’t been there from the absolute start, we certainly look at them as industry OGs. Few providers have had the impact they have, creating plenty of mechanics and features that other providers have then “borrowed”. That’s a testament to their greatness right there.
Today, Relax Gaming is mostly known for its slot games, but that’s not where it started. Before Relax Gaming began creating slot games, they were primarily focused on providing online poker and bingo solutions. The company initially developed a poker platform and later expanded to offer a bingo platform. These early products laid the foundation for Relax Gaming's entry into the broader iGaming market, where they eventually diversified their portfolio to include online slots and other casino games. We’re happy that they did, as it has resulted in a plethora of slot experiences and even our own first slot collaborations, Sloth Tumble and Epic Dreams.
As time has gone on and Relax has expanded its own portfolio, they’ve also realized that its platform and system are at a high enough level to host others. Providers such as Print Studios, Peter & Sons, and 4ThePlayer have a “Silver Bullet” deal with Relax, where they get to use Relax’s tools and platform when creating and marketing their games.
Relax Gaming Slots
Relax Gaming’s two most legendary games are, in our opinion, Temple Tumble Megaways and Money Train (1, 2, 3, and 4). Both games have had a tremendous impact on the slot scene. We’re honestly not sure if either of them were the first ones to use their respective mechanics, but they sure brought them to light. Temple Tumble may not seem too flashy today, but the tumble mechanic has since inspired a ton of games, such as our very own Sloth Tumble. Sloth Tumble was the first slot that we released in collaboration with Relax, and our love for Temple Tumble can be seen in it. There’s something satisfying about seeing symbols tumble down and create new connections, as it allows for many other mechanics to sneak in and participate in interesting ways.
Our second slot with Relax Gaming was Epic Dreams. The tumbling tumbled on, and one of the bonuses was inspired by another Relax game, TNT Tumble. What we’re trying to get at is that we resonate a lot with Relax and their games. They don’t go too crazy with PhD-level mechanics but are also intricate enough to stand out in a crowded market.
If you want to try out their games, we have demo versions on most slot reviews!
Relax Gaming Conclusion
Relax Gaming has become more than just an iGaming product provider. They’re now a powerhouse capable of hosting other providers and taking them under their wings. Thus, they spread the knowledge and experience they’ve gathered themselves, creating a better industry for everyone. But we hope that they also keep focusing on their own slot games, and there’s no indication that they wouldn’t. Relax Gaming: an industry giant.
