October is over, and Christmas is rapidly approaching. Let’s take a look at last month’s best slot releases, prominent providers, poll results, and more in our monthly roundup!
Barbarossa Revenge from Peter & Sons takes players on a high-seas adventure with intense bonus rounds, capturing the thrill of pirate lore with immersive sound and fast-paced action.
Dreadworks from Print Studios transports players to a dark, steampunk-inspired place, where industrial visuals and powerful multipliers bring a gritty, sci-fi feel. It’s a fresh take on slots with a twist of suspense and innovation.
Release the Kraken Megaways from Pragmatic Play ups the ante on the original deep-sea classic, now with Megaways for more ways to win and thrilling Kraken encounters. Familiar features are boosted with extra suspense and big win potential.
Blood & Shadow 2 from Nolimit City plunges into gothic horror, doubling down on the eerie charm of the first game. Dark symbols, gory visuals, and scatter mechanics make this a wild ride for horror fans looking for a high-volatility thrill.
Snoop Dogg Dollars from BGaming merges hip-hop culture and slots, with Snoop guiding players through a bling-filled experience. Packed with funky tracks and flashy bonuses, it’s a must-play for music lovers and slot fans alike.
Slot sequels top the charts in October. It’s no surprise that San Quentin 2: Death Row still sits at the top of the list, as it has seen massive success since its release in late September, and we regard it as one of the best sequels of all time. Second and third fall to Retro Sweets and Razor Returns, two extremely volatile games from Push Gaming, one filled with candy and the other with sharks. The fourth and fifth positions on the list go to ELK Studios’ Pirots 3 and Pirots X, showing that players still love the phenomenon that is Pirots. Retro Sweets, Razor Returns, and Pirots 3 certainly stand out here, as none of them are new releases, but still some of the games that our community visits the most. In terms of providers, it’s no surprise that the industry giant Pragmatic Play tops the list, with other big actors such as Hacksaw, Nolimit, ELK, and Play’n GO on their heels.
The theme of October’s polls was deposits & bet sizes. These showed us that most people prefer not betting more than €1 a spin, and are prepared to spend €10-€50 on a deposit. That was rather expected, but we were actually surprised to see that almost 17% of respondents preferred to bet €5 or more per spin when playing slots. That is a very high bet size, and we want to remind everyone to gamble responsibly!
Lastly, we asked all of our slot reviewers what their favorite new slot release, most interesting provider, and most anticipated release was. Blood & Shadow got a solid 3/5 votes, Hacksaw dominated with 4/5 votes as the most interesting provider currently, and Immortal 5, Duel at Dawn, and Emberfall were the most anticipated releases. These are, of course, subjective opinions but a small insight into the current market.
That's all for now, and we're excited to discover what November has in store!
