Real Dealer Studios Releases iGaming’s First Celebrity Blackjack Title
Earlier this year, Swintt released The Crown, featuring ferocious football player and actor, Vinnie Jones. Now, the iconic Wimbledon legend will deal blackjack cards for you.
Vinnie Jones Blackjack is an addition to Real Dealer’s series of cinematic table games. It’s a unique approach where Vinnie will interact with players in a one-to-one environment. The game is set in an upscale, members-only club. Vinnie has the role of VIP dealer, bringing every bit of his larger-than-life, cocky, streetwise persona to the table.
This is not the first Real Dealer Studios title featuring Vinnie Jones. In fact, they are rolling out multiple casino titles featuring the man himself. Earlier this year, Vinnie Jones Roulette hit the market. Vinnie Jones, said: “Can you believe they put a geezer like me in charge of roulette? Trust me, you’re gonna love this game. It’s just like regular roulette, but loads better, because of me”.
So how did they manage to include Vinnie in an interactive game, one might ask? Real Dealer Studios explained that Vinnie’s inclusion was made possible through cinematic RNG, an innovative process created by Real Dealer whereby cinema-quality recorded video is integrated into a random number generator-based game framework.
The production process was similar to that of Hollywood filmmaking, with directors and production crew delivering professional footage of the dealer and gameplay.
Shane Cotter, Chief Product Officer at Real Dealer Studios, said: “We’re effectively blurring the lines between the worlds of iGaming and film, particularly now with these celebrity titles. Apart from yielding an all-around better experience for players, it opens up the door to some fantastic new game concepts”
This innovation opens a whole new aspect of iGaming. We’ve seen in plenty of slot releases before that many celebrities are interested in the industry. We’re used to seeing them in animated versions, such as Kiss Reels of Rock and Roberto Carlos Sporting Legends, but having them actually interact with you is way cooler.
Shane Cotter, Chief Product Officer at Real Dealer Studios, added: “There just hasn’t been anything like this on the market before – an RNG blackjack game with this sort of personal interaction, and starring a celebrity to boot”
Of course, Vinnie Jones is a busy man, so he won’t actually sit there, live, dealing your cards. Instead, it will be sort of a parasocial interaction, where Vinnie will talk you through the games, and you can sit back and enjoy the banter.
In just a few days, Real Player will improve further on this immersive experience with Vinnie Jones Stories Roulette. Vinnie’s friend Rachel will be handling the spinning duties, while he relaxes, answering some FAQs and telling stories. Questions such as “which of your scandals do you find the most amusing”, “who was the dirtiest player you ever played against”, and “do you hold the world record for being sent off in football?”
There’s no doubt that this game series is revolutionary. It opens up a new realm of possibilities, and we’re here for all of it!
