Fruitopolis Fortune Play Slot Overview

Fruitopolis Fortune Play is a new casino slot from Blueprint Gaming with classic old-school casino symbols such as cherries, lemons, and plums. The game has a Money Spins feature similar to the Link&Win or Hold&Win mechanics, activating 3 spins revealing cash prizes, and resetting the spins every time a new prize hits the reels. The Link&Win mechanic is used in games such as Gold Collector: Diamond Edition and the Hold&Win can, for example, be found in Plunderin’ Pirates. The player can also choose the Fortune Play, which almost turns into another game, with 4 grids next to each other, where mystery gold coin symbols transfer from one grid to another.

Fruitopolis Fortune Play is a video slot from Blueprint Gaming with 5 reels and 4 rows. This fruity adventure has 20 paylines that pay anywhere as long as they’re adjacent. The bet range is huge with the Min.bet of 0.10 and the Max.bet of hefty 500. The Min.bet is raised to 2 in the Fortune Play feature, though. The game is highly volatile, and the RTP is 95.06-95.38%. Blueprint Gaming claims that the max win is 50000X the bet, but that seems to be a super high theoretical number to reach.

This little bowl of fruits does, of course, have some tools to help the player to the big wins. The features of Fruitopolis are Mystery Symbol, Money Scatter Symbol, Money Spins, and Fortune Play.

Fruitopolis Fortune Play Slot Information

You may expect Fruitopolis to contain an insane number of fruits, but it turns out that only three of the symbols are fruits. The logo with the name in big yellow letters is placed on top of the reels, and at the sides of the logo lie the game’s main characters, lemon, cherry, and plum. The background looks like the backrest of a brown couch, and the reels are transparent, giving glimpses of the background. To the right of the reels is the spin button and on the other side are the rest of the buttons. A button that might stick out is the Fortune Play button that takes you to the Fortune Play Feature containing 4 grids. Pressing the button automatically multiplies the bet by 20, but the player can choose to lower it. The symbols in Fruitopolis land in stacks, quite often resulting in the same symbol filling a reel completely. A win is made when 3 or more symbols of the same kind land on any of the 20 paylines. A winning line doesn’t have to start on the first reel to the left, meaning that you can make a win starting at either the first, second, or third reel. The game is available on desktop, notepad, and mobile phones.

The lower-paying symbols in Fruitopolis aren’t fruits, but they’re very familiar in the casino world. Landing any of the play card symbols 10, J, Q, K, or A will give the player between 0.50X-1X the bet for a combination of 3, and 5X-10X for a combination of 5. The more valuable symbols are cherry, lemon, plum, and 7. They pay between 2X and 5X the bet for 3, and 15X-25X the bet for 5. There’s also a Mystery Symbol in the shape of a gold coin which turns into a random symbol after it has landed. All mystery symbols turn into the same symbol. Lastly is the Money Scatter Symbol that brings cash prizes and triggers the Money Spins feature.

Fruitopolis Fortune Play Slot Features

What is the max win in the slot Fruitopolis Fortune Play?

You can win up to 50000X the bet, according to the game developer.

What features are available in the slot Fruitopolis Fortune Play?

The features are Mystery Symbol, Money Scatter Symbol, Money Spins, and Fortune Play.

Mystery Symbol

The Mystery Symbol is a golden coin that is transformed into any other symbol after it has landed. If several reels have mystery symbols, they all transform into the same paying symbol. If a mystery symbol lands in the Fortune Play, it will land in the same position on the following grids.

Money Scatter Symbol

The star-shaped Money Scatter Symbol takes you to the Money Spins. The money symbol contains a cash prize that is being paid out when the money spins finish.

Money Spins

The Money Spins feature is similar to the Hold&Win and Link&Win features found in other games. It starts whenever a star-shaped money symbol hits the reels. The symbol is stuck in its position while all other positions are being cleared. If several money symbols land, they are all stuck in their positions. The player gets 3 spins with the possible outcome of landing blanks or new money symbols. Whenever a new money symbol hits the reels, the spins are reset to 3. The feature ends when the player runs out of spins or when the reels are full of money symbols. The values of all symbols are added together and paid out.

Fortune Play

The Fortune Play feature is the base game multiplied by four with some extra flavor. You can choose to play Fortune Play at any time by just pressing the button to the left, and you can return to the base game at any time by pressing the same button. The Fortune Play costs 20 times more than the regular bet, meaning that the minimum bet is 2 instead of 0.10 in the base game. The player gets to spin 4 grids placed in a square with two on top of the other two. The feature starts by spinning the reels in the upper left, then makes the second spin on the upper right grid before moving to the lower left and finishing off with the last grid at the bottom right corner. If Mystery Symbols land on a grid, they’re transferred to the other ones that haven’t been used yet. If you fill a reel with mystery symbols on the first spin, the three other grids will be filled with mystery symbols on the same corresponding reel. If you land mystery symbols on the last grid, they won’t be transferred anywhere. The mystery symbol reveals the same paying symbol on a grid but can reveal another one on another grid. The feature is over when the four reels have been spun once, and any win on one or more grids is being paid out.

Fruitopolis Fortune Play Slot Conclusion

Although Fruitopolis sounds like a land full of fruits, it actually only contains three different ones. The symbols are very familiar to any casino player, and nothing really sticks out. Spinning the reels in Fruitopolis works hassle-free, but nothing sticks out here either. It’s in general, a very basic game without spectacular graphics, although it doesn’t look bad. The features are also few, and there are no free spins. The most interesting feature to land is the Money Spins that can bring a nice cash prize. We have seen similar versions of this feature over the years with names such as Hold&Win, and Hold&Spin, all containing three spins that can be reset. A newly released Hold&Spin game is the Candy Wild Bonanza, containing a bonus if the player manages to fill all positions. Many games have a significant jackpot prize for filling the reels, but Fruitopolis Fortune Play only pays the amount of the combined Money Symbols.

The Fortune Play feature can probably bring big wins with the Mystery Symbols transferring from one grid to the others, but we didn’t manage to make a single spin that resulted in a big win. In the base game, the mystery symbols feel like they don’t add anything to the game; they could as well just have been any paying symbol from the start since the other symbols land in stacks too. We didn’t make any win on most of the occasions the mystery symbols landed. It is, in general, quite hard to make wins in a game where the symbols land in stacks, but you can, of course, land very nice combinations if you manage to get the same symbol in several stacks.

Blueprint Gaming claims that the max win is 50000X the bet, but we question that number. It sounds way too high, especially since there aren’t free spins or other features that can be prolonged for a long time. The RTP of 95.06-95.38% isn’t good either, being quite a lot under the average slot RTP.

Fruitopolis Fortune Play from Blueprint Gaming is a video slot with classic symbols and a feature letting the player spin four grids at once, with the possibility of mystery symbols moving from one grid to another.
