Firing up Winter Champions gave us a warm feeling. In a couple of months, we’ll be tired of everything that has to do with winter and Christmas, but for now, it’s a welcome sight. We are aware that some associate Christmas with bad things, but it brings us joy, and some nostalgia, even. Also, Winter Champions is not necessarily Christmas-themed, but it’s hard not to think about a cup of hot chocolate by the Christmas tree when visiting these snowy mountains. So, thematically, Relax did a great job here, making us dream away and look forward to what’s to come. 

Mechanically, we have a classic Relax 3 bonus setup. Not that it’s standard procedure for the provider, but they have racked up quite a few games with it now. Bill & Coin and Net Gains come to mind, which have both been big successes. Perhaps not only due to them having different bonus games, but it’s certainly a big part of the equation, as it makes for gameplay with longevity due to its diverse nature. Whether Winter Champions will reach the same heights remains to be seen, but we certainly liked it.
